Position Title: RF Optimization SME
Position Duties:
Work on radio network design, implementation, tuning and optimization systems. Perform event analysis and address accessibility, retainability and HO success rate issues. Make recommendations in parameter changes, feature activations on drive test data to improve the system performance. Work on tuning a loaded network, and understand the difference between artificial and real traffic loading. Collect and analyze drive data and performance statistics, and solve complex issues. Suggest improvements to tools and understand the impact of adding additional carrier(s) on the network. Make recommendations for improvement on KPIs. Enhance uplink tuning, identify and interpret customer requirements and develop plans to address them. Work may be performed at various unanticipated locations throughout the US.
Work Location: 999 West Big Beaver Rd. Troy, Michigan 48084
Work Hours: 8 AM to 5 PM
Minimum Qualifications: US Bachelors’ degree or foreign equivalent degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or related field and three (3) years of experience as an RF or optimization engineering professional.
Special Skill Requirements: Must have three (3) years of experience in each of the following skills: LTE FDD; TDD; VoLTE; CBRS; 5G; WCDMA; TAC planning; and OSS.
