About the role:

Support Head - Distribution in efficient management of the Warehouse by crafting process improvements for Inbound and Outbound operations. Support in creating a safety and quality work culture amongst warehouse employees. Focused approach towards Margin and Asset optimization considering strong analytical inputs while defining strategy or taking decisions. Plan and implement technological aspects in Warehouse operations to reduce the manual dependency and increase the operational efficiency. Efficiently manage warehouse employees to gain maximum output from operations.

Essential Job Functions

Warehouse planning for Goods receipt, storage and dispatch to 3 PL providers, Distributors and Direct Customers. Monitor and Maintain Warehouse KPIs in all aspects of Safety, Quality, Service, Compliance, Cost, Inventory, Operational Excellence and Digitalization. Collaborative working along with various internal stakeholders such as Customer Excellence, Logistics, Commercial, Finance. Analysis of warehouse capacity on routine basis and ensure optimization of inventory. Work on concepts related to technology and link to warehouse operations to enhance the operational efficiency and reduce manual intervention. Implement and maintain Quality management systems.

Who you are:

• Graduation in Science preferred.
• Management degree in Supply Chain – Warehousing / Logistics preferred
• Experience of 7 to 10 years in Core Warehousing.

Knowledge and Skills

• Fluent English, written and verbal.
• Good understanding of Warehouse operations and regulations in Chemical, Pharma or FMCG.
• Strong people management skills.
• Active listening skills and ability to formulate decisions and actions in clear business language.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Result oriented and impactful communication.
