Job Description

Sign-on bonus up to $5,000*

Performs and assists with Cardiac Catheterizations, Angioplasty, Peripheral Vascular Procedures, Interventional Radiology Procedures, and Pacemakers.  Scrubs in all procedures, assists the physician by facilitating injection of contrast, holding wires, assists in accessing the patient.  Anticipates appropriate angles for imaging based on the procedure.  Takes call for Cardiac and Endovascular program. Continuously strives to develop/improve systems and relationships with all customers.  Participates in the orientation of new staff to the Cardiac and Endovascular Center. 


Successful completion of an approved Radiologic Technology program, with additional training in Cardiovascular Technology a plus.  BLS and ACLS provider.  Minimum 2 years experience in a Interventional Cardiac Catherization Lab and/or Special Procedure Lab.  Competent to operate all equipment in the department.  Must be able to transport patients from wheelchair or patient slide board to and from table.  Able to assist in lifting of patients to proper position.
