Medical Lab Technician
About the Job
Under the direction of a Technical Specialist/Team Leader and/or Division Manager, performs routine, moderate and designated complex laboratory tests requiring independent judgement and some interpretation. Monitors quality of reagents and working conditions of instruments.
- Education: Associate's degree or higher level degree or equivalent training, such as in medical laboratory science or medical laboratory technology programs, is required.
- Required Certification, Registration, and/or Licensure: ASCP certification (or equivalent) as a Medical Laboratory technician required within 1 year after hire.
- Experience: From six to twelve months experience required.
