  • Job Summary
    • Receives, inspects, stores, delivers, and issues materials, supplies, and equipment. Maintains inventory levels by checking shelves, restocks supply carts, and maintains supply records .
  • Minimum Qualifications
      • High School Diploma or GED.
      • 6 months of relevant experience
      • Proficient computer, clerical and math skills.
      • Ability to lift boxes and supplies 35 to 50 lbs.
    • Preferred Qualifications
      • Associates Degree.
      • Experience working with computerized inventory management systems
  • Primary Duties and Responsibilities
    • Contributes to the achievement of established department goals and objectives and adheres to department policies, procedures, quality standards and safety standards. Complies with governmental and accreditation regulations.
    • Acts as liaison for all replenishment orders, managing recalls and product conversions within designated areas of assigned responsibility; replenishes on daily basis primarily non-stock inventory items supporting OR, SPD and OR rooms; performs shelf audits, verifies order quantities and places orders. Handles special orders relevant to OR operations
    • Handles special orders in regards to OR operations and makes assessments for specified procedures.
    • Ensures consumable supplies are rotated regularly and accurately controlled to reduce obsolence, expirations and waste within an inventory location. Coordinates product recalls.
    • Processes and distributes supplies and equipment in a timely manner. Plans and coordinates the transfer of materials. Maintains OR storage locations neat and clean and ensures bin location labels are complete and accurate.
    • Loads or unloads material, equipment, merchandise and supplies from supply delivery carts for OR inventory. Arranges adequate space allocations for storage.
    • Monitors par levels/quantities and review with each end-user on a periodic basis, reports results to Supervisor. Modifies racking configurations to accommodate changes in par levels/quantities or the introduction of new products under supervision. Performs scheduled physical and cycle count inventories. Utilizes inventory management system to evaluate current inventory levels; identifies and reports potential overstock and obsolescence.
    • Receives incoming materials, supplies and equipment and compares information on packing slip with purchase order to verify accuracy shipment against purchase order. Inspects shipments for damages or defects.
    • Receives requests for supplies, selects stock from inventory and distributes supplies and special instruments to a requisitioning department.
    • Performs other related duties as assigned.
