Job Summary
  • Participates in an organized, directed, postgraduate training program in the Pharmacy department, under the supervision of a licensed Pharmacist/Preceptor. Responsible for interpretation of physician's orders, review of patient therapy, dispensing of appropriate ordered medications and performing appropriate operational duties necessary within the inpatient and satellite services. These functions are performed in accordance with all applicable laws and regulations and Georgetown University Hospital's philosophy, policies, procedures and standards.
Minimum Qualifications
  •  
    • PharmD graduate of an accredited School of Pharmacy.
    • Clinical rotations in accredited school of pharmacy.
    • Must be eligible for licensure and have applied for licensure upon hire.
    • Licensure must be obtained within four months after hire.
