Job Summary and Qualifications

Orders food and maintains inventory level for patient and staff meals

· Prepares and portions food according to menu

· Monitors quality and temperature of food

· Maintains clean and orderly workstation

· Maintains documentation as requested or required

· Stores food and equipment according to guidelines

· Prepares special diets accurately

· Assures quality and timelines of food service

· Assures patient needs for nourishment are met

· Documents temperatures, patient meals and meal tickets

· Adheres to hospital polices and procedures

· Demonstrates an understanding of and adherence to the Code of Conduct

· Conduct reflects the Company’s values and a commitment to the Code of Conduct

· Performs other duties as requested or required

What qualifications you will need:

• Food Handlers/Safety must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• Nonviolent Crisis Intervention must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
