Primary Responsibilities

  • Assist the sales team in maintaining a thorough working proficiency in Enquire
  • Support the sales team by effectively maintaining all prospect records current in Enquire
  • Assists with maintaining the sales database by making outbound sales calls to leads resulting in setting next steps and tours.
  • Assists with keeping Enquire up-to-date and ensuring there are no past due appointments on a daily basis
  • Assists in conducting community tours with direction from the Community Relations Director
  • Supports and assists the Executive Director and Community Relations Director in building a trusting and positive relationship with prospects by understand the Maplewood product and how Maplewood Senior Living can meet customer’s needs
  • Assists the Executive Director and Community Relations Director by ensuring model apartments(s) are well maintained and presentable
  • Supports and assists the Executive Director and Community Relations Director in setting, tracking and accomplishing sales related goals as determined by sales team
  • Demonstrates effective telephone skills producing qualified leads and appointments
  • Prepares the resident’s community file according to Maplewood and state specific regulatory requirements
  • Assists with Managing the move-in process for the community
  • Coordinates the resident assessment with the Resident Services Director
  • Ensures the apartment is fully ready for move-in
  • On the Move-In day, the Community Relations Asst will help with:
    • Collects any remaining paperwork
    • Orientates the resident and family to the community
    • Presents the apartment to the resident and family explains the telephone, and emergency procedures systems and other services such as hair care/salon, transportation, activities, etc.
    • Arranges lunch or dinner for the resident and family members on the Move-In day
    • Following move-In day, the CRA will be responsible for checking on every new resident/family daily for the first week to ensure smooth transition.


  • Associate and/or bachelor’s degree preferred
  • One (1) year experience in an administrative support role. Previous customer service/sales experience and demonstration of customer service skill set
  • Experience working with seniors or in the Healthcare industry
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities
  • Possess excellent phone communication skills, written and verbal skills for effective communication and the ability to facilitate small group presentations
  • Competent in organizational and time management skills
  • Demonstrates good judgement, problem solving and decision-making skills
Maplewood Senior Living conducts pre-employment screening including background check, drug screening and reference checks.

Due to Department of Public Health requirements, all candidates will be required to show valid proof of full vaccination for COVID-19 (1st vaccine, 2nd vaccine, and booster) before commencing work, unless they receive an approved exemption from Maplewood.  Those who do not obtain full vaccination and booster within that time frame, without an approved exemption, will be terminated.
