As a Lynn employee, you will help us build a better world with our students. Lynn is currently accepting applications for the position of Deputy Director of Athletics.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
*Support the University's mission and athletic department core values of SPIRIT, SERVICE and STRENGTH.
*Serve as an advisor and liaison to the Director of Athletics.
*Contribute as a member of the athletics department leadership team for strategic planning.
*Evaluate and refine the athletic department policies and procedures while communicating the practices to various constituents.
*Serve as the health care administrator which includes supervision for athletic training, sport performance, and sports psychology.
*Manage the athletic budget and payroll operations.
*Develops programming and education for coaches and student athletes on the topics of sexual violence prevention, mental health, diversity, gender issues, nutrition, drug and alcohol and strength and conditioning.
*Ensure the athletic trainers are familiar with the university policies and procedures related to the health and safety for the student athlete.
*Bachelor's degree, though Master's degree is preferred.
*Preference will be given to former collegiate athletes.
*Minimum of five (5) years of full-time athletic administration experience at a NCAA institution.
