Job Overview:
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated ELA Teacher to instruct students in reading, writing, speaking, and critical thinking. The ideal candidate will foster a love for literature, develop students' analytical skills, and guide them in effective communication.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and implement engaging lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards.
Teach reading comprehension, literary analysis, grammar, vocabulary, and writing skills.
Introduce students to a diverse range of texts, including fiction, non-fiction, poetry, and drama.
Foster discussion, debate, and critical thinking through class discussions and assignments.
Assess student progress through formative and summative evaluations.
Provide individualized support to help students strengthen their writing and analytical skills.
Incorporate technology and interactive methods to enhance learning.
Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
Communicate effectively with parents, guardians, and school staff regarding student progress.
Participate in faculty meetings, professional development, and extracurricular activities as needed.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in English, Education, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
Experience: Prior teaching experience preferred.
Skills: Strong classroom management, excellent communication, and a passion for literature and writing.
