About the Job

  • To be an enabler in DG business integration and growth, preventively solve EHS and compliance risk in DG I&E + local transportation
  • Build up good interface and hand over process with each pick up site
  • Generate practical SOP/WI and deliver trainings to relevant stake holders
  • Lead a team to ensure daily shipments execution, customs declaration documents validation, HS classification, duty & VAT handling at expected service level
  • Set up KPI & Scorecard system to measure transportation service vendors performance
  • Establish freight cost analysis dashboard to make it transparent, enhance the visibility to track and trace the spend
  • Select transportation routes/models to maximize economy by combining shipments or consolidating warehousing and distribution
  • Adopt PPI methodology to seek continuously process excellence and cost effectiveness opportunities
  • Work with Freight Purchasing team for freight tender, vendor evaluation and awarding, on-boarding the selected vendors and ensure smooth roll-out
  • Introduce state-of-art logistics system, digitalization application, smart logistics concept to add the competiveness in the market
  • Maintain expertise on logistics regulations, closely follow up the regulation changes, and keep the intelligence updated to both local and global logistics teams
  • Develop the team in terms of both logistics knowledge and soft skills to upgrade the teams' overall capability to well support business growth
