Job Description:
You are a dedicated and passionate RF Engineering Associate Manager leading the Aeronautics AMMM Comm/Nav and Surveillance team. This exciting position is with the Combat Systems Department. You will manage, mentor, and guide a team of engineers with diverse backgrounds and encourage innovation and technical leadership across the C-130J, C-5M, and P-3 platforms. As a leader, you will foster personal growth and create inclusive work environments for your highly skilled team.The RF Engineering Associate Manager candidate will have the following responsibilities:
- Manages the research, design, development, and testing of a variety of electronic avionics equipment and systems, including radios, antennas, navigation equipment, intercommunication systems, and defensive systems.
- Practice effective project management problem resolution and risk management techniques.
- Interpretation of customer requirements, creation of system and equipment level requirements, and development of statements of work, , specifications, implementation, test, integration, and closure.
- Coordination with multiple stakeholders including suppliers, various Lockheed Martin groups and customers to develop effective proposals.
- Allocation of direct report work assignments by leveraging their skills and long-term goals.
- Follow Lockheed Martin’s Performance review process by setting clear expectations, providing/receiving focused feedback, performing salary discussions and encouraging recognition.
- Actively support recruiting events to attract highly skilled workforce and develop employee development plans leveraging Lockheed Martin’s wide training programs.
- Understand Earned Value principals to monitor and track throughout project/contract lifecycles.
- Develop integrated staffing forecasting requirements that support multiple projects.
Qualifications:
- Degree in a electrical engineering or related discipline from an accredited college.- Leading a team of engineers.
- Project management.
- Development and/or integration of mission systems.
- Earned Value techniques such as Control Account Management (CAM)
- Supplier management
