You will be the Facility Operations Specialist for the Facilities Operations Team. Our team is responsible for ensuring mission‑critical equipment and infrastructure operate safely and reliably.
What You Will Be Doing
As the Facility Operations Specialist you will be responsible for delivering hands‑on technical support and logistics for equipment and shelter systems supporting a unique operation.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Service equipment sets on‑site, troubleshoot failures, and perform preventive maintenance.
- Order, receive, and manage tools, materials, and instruments needed for mission work.
- Prepare accurate reports, maintain records, and complete required paperwork in a timely manner.
- Operate forklifts, aerial lifts, and work safely in confined spaces and at heights.
- Train personnel in group settings and promote OSHA‑compliant safety practices.

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must possess an active Secret clearance to start.
Qualifications:
Equipment Maintenance & Inspection: Regularly inspect, clean, and repair specialized SAR equipment, including ropes, harnesses, radios, personal protective equipment (PPE), and medical kits to meet safety standards.Vehicle & Specialized Equipment Upkeep: Perform preventative maintenance on vehicles, trailers, ATVs, boats, or snowmobiles, such as checking fluids, tire pressure, and ensuring emergency lighting is functional.
Facility Maintenance: Maintain the SAR station or facility, including cleaning, lighting, heating/HVAC systems, and general repairs to ensure a safe working environment.
Inventory Management: Track and order necessary supplies, parts, and safety gear, ensuring replacements are on hand to prevent downtime.
Safety Compliance: Ensure all gear and facilities comply with safety regulations, such as checking fire alarms, emergency exits, and proper hazardous material storage.
Documentation: Maintain accurate, up-to-date records of maintenance activities, repairs, and safety checks on all equipment and vehicles.
Emergency Response Support: Ensure all critical equipment is loaded or ready for deployment immediately upon request
