Electronics design and test lead for a few IGNITE space research circuit card and cable harnesses.

Heavily involved in Detailed Design: system block diagrams, schematics (analog, digital, FPGA), PCB/CCA design, circuit analysis, parts procurement, manufacturing, space qual acceptance testing, radiation testing, electro-optical integration, Special Test Equipment (STE) design. Support program lifecycle for optical payload component builds.

Heavily involved in Product Development: coordination of multiple engineering disciplines (mechanical, electrical, FPGA, software), generation of design review material, perform trade studies, report active risks and opportunities, proposals.

Qualifications:

• Schematic Capture: Demonstrated proficiency in schematic design tools (e.g., Altium Designer, Cadence OrCAD, Zuken, or PSpice) to create and document functional electrical circuits.
• Block Diagrams: Ability to develop system-level block diagrams, interface diagrams, and interconnect documentation.
• Worst Case Analysis: Experience Performing Circuit Card Assembly (CCA) WCA, including stress and stability analysis to ensure design reliability under extreme environmental and operating conditions.
• Parts procurement: Experience with identifying and sourcing components, managing BOMs, parts restrictions, and interfacing with suppliers.
• Must have an Active Final Top Secret Clearance to be considered for this position; US Citizenship is required.
