As a Cyber Security Engineer supporting the MUOS program, your responsibilities will include:

• Conducting cyber risk assessment activities, vulnerability analysis, and analysis of mitigation solutions in order to develop satellite and simulator cyber requirement baseline.
• Analyzing, developing, and evaluating cyber RMF controls and cyber engineering requirements.
• Planning and implementing appropriate program protection activities as required by customers.
• Implementing appropriate Assessment and Authorization activities as required by customers.

Specific technical responsibilities include:

• Assessing satellite and simulator system security threats/risks based on threat intelligence, MBCRA, and DevSecOps pipelines, and executing mitigation efforts throughout the program lifecycle for the satellite and simulation environments.
• Interacting significantly with other engineering disciplines as well as the customer to implement and integrate satellite and simulator cyber requirements well as associated verification methods/approaches within detailed system and security engineering assembly, integration, and testing.
• Supporting the planning and execution of program protection including satellite and simulator software assurance, SCRM, criticality analysis, and AT plans.
• Prepare ATO, ATC, IATT satellite and simulator artifacts and packages per Space AO memoranda for input into eMASS.
• Support planning and implementing of NSA Type 1 cryptographic systems with satellite and simulators.

Qualifications:

1. Experience with Authorization and Accreditation processes using NIST Risk Management Framework methodologies.
2. Experience with DoD cyber test and evaluation requirements, policies, and procedures.
