Job Summary
At Laser Spine Institute, the Diagnostic RN is responsible for overseeing all processes and guidelines for the successful treatment of patients requiring diagnostics or pain management. The Diagnostic RN will assure positive outcomes and patient satisfaction by assisting the physician in the preparation, treatment, and aftercare of the patients. Within our patient-centric environment, the Diagnostic RN will provide oversight and support to the imagining staff and department for the efficient management of patients throughout diagnostic and pain management process.

Essential Functions - Duties & Responsibilities
Tasks may include, but are not limited to the following:
- Providing all aspects of patient care in the Diagnostic department.
- Provide chart reviews for all patients seen in the Diagnostic center.
- Provide follow-up phone calls to patients who have had pain management procedures, if they are not post-operative patients who fall under PSD.
- Monitor the daily schedule in the Diagnostic and Imaging centers.
- Maintain the presentation and cleanliness of both departments.
- Build an excellent and supportive relationship with the physician working in the Diagnostic center.
- Will work under all the nursing regulations and guidelines as set out by Laser Spine Institute.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications & Requirements
Required:
- Minimum of 3 years clinical and operative or procedural experience
Preferred:
- Critical Care experience is preferred
Previous Laser Spine Institute nursing experience
License/Certification:
- ACLS certification must be provided or obtained within 3 months of hire
Current and active RN license
