Job Summary
The Online Reputation Management (ORM) Specialist is responsible for ensuring positive content is being served on the first page of the search engines so that prospective patients and B2B audiences can develop a positive view of the brand during online research. This person must stay apprised of industry trends and able to address and resolve specific concerns regarding copyright infringement and negative changes to the rankings of our owned web properties. This person will be a liaison between the marketing and legal departments to mitigate threats with copyright, trademark and brand infringers. They will work closely with the Social, Digital and Influencer Marketing teams to protect Laser Spine Institutes brand and ensure a positive presence in the Search Engine Results Page.
Essential Functions - Duties & Responsibilities
- Threat monitoring and analysis
- Competitor monitoring and analysis
- Google/Bing SERP analysis
- Branded keyword analysis
- Verifying and monitoring removal of infringement content
- Documenting response to threats at all stages of resolution
- Duplicate content studies
- Perform branded SERP pulls for branded keywords in different market areas
- Analyze and research infringers
- Provide detailed reports on threats and content theft for marketing and legal review
- Monitoring public social mentions
- Improve domain authority with a sophisticated backlink strategy
- Identify and build relationships with prominent digital influencers and thought leaders
- Keep abreast of emerging trends, technologies and influencers
- Proven track record in ORM strategies
- Utilize digital technology to monitor and analyze SERP activity
- Understanding of Search Engine Optimization (SEO) and Social strategies
- Proven ability to manage projects independently and collaboratively to successful completion
- Keep up with emerging ORM strategies and technology
- Promote Laser Spine Institute and individual employees positive online presence
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
Qualifications & Requirements
Education:
- Bachelors Degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Business or equivalent
Experience:
- 3+ years experience in online reputation management
- Experience in the healthcare industry a plus
- Marketing/Advertising agency experience a plus
