KPMG is currently seeking a Data Analyst Manager to join our National Audit Technology organization.
Responsibilities:
- Collect, analyze, and interpret data to identify trends, patterns, and insights; assist teams in researching, understanding, acquiring, and properly utilizing data assets
- Cleanse, validate, and transform data to ensure accuracy and consistency; develop and maintain data flow diagrams, data models, dashboards, and reports to support business decision-making
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand data requirements and provide data-driven recommendations; conduct ad-hoc data analysis and provide insights to answer specific business questions
- Identify data quality issues and work with data owners to resolve them; perform statistical analysis and data mining to uncover actionable insights; present findings and visualizations to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner
- Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices in data analysis; improve data analysis processes and techniques continuously
Qualifications:
- Minimum five years of recent experience in data analysis or related role
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in a relevant field such as mathematics, statistics, economics, or computer science is preferred
- Proficiency in data preparation, analysis tools and programming languages, such as Alteryx, SQL, Python, R, or Excel; solid analytical and problem-solving skills; strong attention to detail and a commitment to data accuracy and integrity
- Familiarity with data visualization tools, such as Tableau, Power BI, or QlikView; knowledge of statistical analysis techniques and methodologies (200TEC)
- Excellent communication and presentation skills; able to work independently and in a team environment; great business acumen and the ability to translate data insights into actionable recommendations
