We are hiring a Maintenance Electrical-Mechanical Technician at our Richland, MS plant. We are searching for individuals who are dependable, responsible and quality-minded who have a history of working safely in a manufacturing environment. Qualified candidates will need to be flexible in terms of work schedule and work assignment. Must have excellent attendance, attitude and be motivated. Responsibilities include: * Experience with pneumatic and electrical hand tools * Install conduit, pull wire, troubleshoot electrical circuits, and correctly size wiring requirements * Understand and implement electrical equations * Knowledge and experience with wiring of AC and DC motors * Troubleshoot and program AC and DC variable speed drives * Experience fabricating electrical panels * Read, understand and explain electrical drawings * Identify and correct electrical hazards * Understand and calibrate pressure, flow, and temperature control loops * Must possess rudimentary mechanical skills * Troubleshoot and program PLCs * Ability to become licensed to operate forklift truck * Received, read, and understand ISO9001 introduction * Must know, understand, and perform all plant and departmental safety regulations and procedures. * Must know and understand company policies, regulations, and procedures regarding employee conduct and attendance. * Follow and Accept both written and verbal commands Minimum Qualifications: * High school diploma or equivalent * Two years of formal technical training or equivalent in electrical craft. Three years electrical experience for primary craft. * 2 years or equivalent training industrial millwright experience for secondary crafts. * Experience with entering data into SAP (a plus) * Cost out small/medium jobs, get all materials and run job (a plus) * Lift up to 50 lbs. * Available to work overtime and off-hours call outs Benefits With Johns Manville you can take pride in helping our team to deliver products that make a difference in the markets that we serve.
