Minimum Qualifications
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) and current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA, or equivalent documentation where applicable.
- Active North Carolina SLP state license prior to the start of the assignment.
- BLS certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross, if required by facility.
- Experience providing SLP services in an acute care or hospital environment, including work with stroke, critical care, or neonatal/pediatric patients is preferred.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with dysphagia assessment and intervention, instrumental assessments (MBSS or FEES), or prior exposure to higher-acuity units such as ICU, stroke, or trauma.
- Experience working in a Magnet-designated facility or trauma center is preferred.
Assignment Details
- Shift hours: 0800-1800.
- Weekend rotation required.
- Typical shift length: 7–10 hours.
