What We're Looking For
- Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences & Disorders.
- Current state licensure in good standing or eligibility for licensure in Florida.
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred.
- Experience working in school-based settings preferred, including familiarity with IEP development and special education procedures.
- Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills.
Minimum Requirements
- Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences & Disorders.
- Current state licensure in good standing or eligibility for licensure in Florida.
- Candidate must be able to provide in-person services at the school site.
- Acceptable credentials include CF (Clinical Fellow), CCC-SLP, or SLPA when matched to appropriate scope and supervision requirements.
- School-based experience required for SLPA applicants to be considered for supervision arrangements by the district; CCC-SLP supervision required if SLPA is hired and district permits.
- Experience sharing a caseload with another full-time SLP or co-coverage model preferred.
What You'll Do:
- Provide speech and language therapy in a school-based setting.
- Conduct assessments, develop IEPs, and deliver goal-aligned therapy.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school teams.
- Maintain compliant documentation per district, state, and federal guidelines.
Assignment Details
- Facility type: School.
- Schedule: Full-time, 5 days per week.
- Work hours: 7:30 AM to 3:00 PM.
- Caseload model: Share caseload with another full-time CCC-SLP.
- On-site presence: In-person services required due to the nature of classes at the site.
- Acceptable clinicians: CF, CCC-SLP, or SLPA (SLPA must have school-based experience and meet supervision requirements).
- Start window: Anticipated mid-March start through the end of the school year, concluding May 28th.
