Make a real difference as a travel PTA providing in-home care across Petersburg, WV and surrounding counties. You will work with patients recovering from injury or illness to improve mobility and functional independence under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist. Minimum Qualifications
- Associate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited educational program.
- Active West Virginia PTA license required prior to start of assignment.
- Experience in home health or in-home patient care preferred.
- Experience with HCHB (Homecare Homebase) documentation preferred.
- BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
- Ability to travel within and provide care across Grant, Hardy, and Pendleton counties.
- Must meet client requirements for independent contractor status and applicable background checks.
- Preferred attributes: flexibility, clear communication, adaptability, and compassion.
Assignment Details
- Facility type: Home Health.
- Shift: Days.
- Shift hours: Monday–Friday, 08:00–16:30 (daily).
- Weekly guaranteed hours: 40 hours.
- Productivity expectation: 25 points (client metric).
- Mileage reimbursed between patient visits (from first patient to last patient).
- No routine on-call or weekend requirement.
- Coverage area includes travel between patients within Grant, Hardy, and Pendleton counties.
