Minimum Qualifications
- Associate degree from a CAPTE-accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
- Active Texas PTA license required to start the assignment.
- BLS certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross preferred.
- Experience working in skilled nursing facility or long-term care settings preferred.
- Proven ability to follow established plans of care and document treatment in medical records per facility, state, and federal regulations.
- Demonstrated experience providing therapeutic interventions, patient and caregiver education, and monitoring patient response to treatment preferred.
