Minimum Qualifications
- Associate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited educational program.
- Active California PTA license required to start the assignment.
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification from AHA or ARC preferred. Client may require BLS; maintain current certification.
- Experience working in a skilled nursing facility or long-term care setting preferred.
- Ability to provide rehabilitation care for geriatric and medically complex patients, including transfers, gait training, therapeutic exercise, and use of mobility aids.
- Comfort with documentation in electronic medical record (EMR) systems. Specific EMR experience preferred but not required.
- Client requires reliable availability for a multi-week contract in a skilled nursing facility setting.
Assignment Details
- Facility Type: Skilled Nursing Facility.
- Shift: Days.
- Shift Hours: 0800-1630.
- Work Days: Sunday through Saturday schedule available; typical coverage consists of five 8-hour shifts per week (5x8).
- Assignment Length: 14-week contract.
- Guaranteed Hours: 35 hours per week.
- Meal Break: 30 minutes.
- Floating: May be required to float to other facility locations as needed.
