Description

Minimum Qualifications

  • Associate degree in Physical Therapy from a CAPTE-accredited educational program or equivalent.
  • Active New York State PTA license required to start the assignment.
  • BLS (Basic Life Support) certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
  • Experience in Skilled Nursing Facility or long-term care settings preferred.
  • Ability to evaluate, plan, and administer therapies under PT supervision and to document treatments and patient progress in medical records.
  • New graduates welcome. Previous experience with resident populations, mobility training, transfers, and restorative care preferred.
