Description

Looking for a change of scenery and a chance to help others? Join a traveling Physical Therapist role in Jonesboro, GA where you will help patients recover from injuries and manage chronic conditions while experiencing a new location. The position is outpatient and supports evaluation, treatment planning, documentation, student supervision, and professional development. You will follow physician direction, state practice act, and clinic policies while promoting patient and employee safety.


Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA.
  • Active Georgia state physical therapy license required to start assignment.
  • BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
  • Experience or ability to perform comprehensive evaluations, develop and implement treatment plans, and document in compliance with regulatory and payer requirements.
  • Ability to supervise students and collaborate with interdisciplinary team members.
  • Demonstrated adherence to professional codes of conduct and state practice act.


Preferred Qualifications

  • New grad and experienced clinicians considered.
  • Experience in outpatient physical therapy settings preferred.


Assignment Details

  • Schedule: 32–40 hours per week, Monday through Friday.
  • Shift pattern: 5x8.

Impacting Patient Care

You will evaluate assigned patients, develop individualized treatment plans focused on functional return to community activities, and modify plans according to progress and physician direction. Complete timely, accurate documentation including goals, functional assessments, letters of medical necessity, and charge entry. Participate in student education and pursue ongoing professional development aligned with clinic performance improvement initiatives. Uphold organizational safety practices and contribute to a safe work environment.
