Description

Looking for a change of scenery and a chance to help others. Join a traveling Physical Therapist team in Aurora, CO at an outpatient clinic where you will help patients recover from injuries and manage chronic conditions while experiencing a new location. This assignment includes 60-minute evaluations and 30-minute follow-ups. Candidate will split time between Aurora, Quincy, and Highlands Ranch locations as required. 40 hours per week. Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor's, Master's or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA.
  • Active Colorado Physical Therapist license required prior to start.
  • BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
  • Outpatient physical therapy experience required. Experience conducting 60-minute initial evaluations and 30-minute follow-up treatment sessions preferred.
  • Experience with caseloads in outpatient orthopedic and general musculoskeletal populations preferred.
  • Ability to document thoroughly and timely in electronic medical records, including goal writing and letters of medical necessity.
  • Willingness to participate in student supervision and support a clinical education environment preferred.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working across multiple clinic sites or floating between locations.
  • Prior travel or contract therapy experience preferred.
  • Familiarity with safe patient handling procedures and clinic safety protocols.


Assignment Details

  • Split coverage between Aurora, Quincy and Highlands Ranch service areas.
  • 40 hours per week.
  • 60-minute evaluations. 30-minute follow-up treatment sessions.

Impacting Patient Care

Evaluate assigned patients and develop, implement, and modify treatment plans according to patient needs, goals, and physician direction. Delegate and direct discipline-specific therapy services for assigned patients. Design functional treatment programs to support return to community activities. Provide patient, family, student, and coworker education. Complete accurate, timely documentation meeting state, federal, and payer requirements. Maintain professional licensure and comply with state Practice Act and organizational policies. Participate in performance improvement initiatives and professional development activities. Follow established safety practices including safe patient handling, materials handling, infection control, and fall prevention.
