You will evaluate patients, develop and implement individualized treatment plans, document care in accordance with regulatory and clinic standards, and participate in student education and professional development. You will uphold professional licensure requirements and support patient and employee safety initiatives.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA.
- Active Texas Physical Therapist license required to start the assignment.
- BLS Certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
- Experience in outpatient physical therapy required.
- Ability to complete comprehensive evaluations, develop functional treatment plans, and document care per clinic and payer requirements.
- Demonstrated ability to work with patients across the adult lifespan and progress patients toward discharge within established lengths of stay.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supervising or mentoring students in a clinical setting.
- Prior experience with functional goal writing, letters of medical necessity, and charge entry.
- Participation in performance improvement initiatives and familiarity with safe patient handling practices.
