Description

Looking for a change of scenery and a chance to help others. Join a traveling Physical Therapist position in Los Gatos, CA at an outpatient clinic where you will help patients recover from injuries and manage chronic conditions while experiencing a new location. This role requires evaluating patients, developing and implementing treatment plans, documenting care, supervising discipline-specific therapy services, and supporting student learning and professional development.


Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA.
  • Active California physical therapy license required to start the assignment.
  • No new graduates. Minimum applicable clinical experience required.
  • BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
  • Experience in outpatient physical therapy settings preferred.
  • Ability to perform comprehensive evaluations, develop treatment plans, document per regulatory and payer requirements, and provide safe patient handling.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supervising students and mentoring staff.
  • Experience with functional outcome measures, letters of medical necessity, and charge entry processes.
  • Demonstrated participation in performance improvement initiatives and professional development activities.


Assignment Details

  • Schedule: 40 hours per week, structured as 5x8.
