The role involves evaluating assigned patients, developing and implementing treatment plans in accordance with physician direction and patient needs, and serving as an educator to patients, families, students, and coworkers. You will complete timely, accurate documentation and participate in performance improvement and professional development activities. You are expected to follow professional codes of conduct and organizational safety practices.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA.
- Active California physical therapy license required to start the assignment.
- BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
- Experience in outpatient physical therapy settings preferred.
- Ability to complete comprehensive evaluations, develop individualized treatment plans, and document in compliance with state, federal, and clinic policies.
- Must adhere to state practice act and maintain professional licensure and required continuing education.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience supervising students and providing clinical education.
- Experience with functional outcome measures, letters of medical necessity, and charge entry.
- Demonstrated engagement in professional development activities and performance improvement initiatives.
