Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's, Master's or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA.
- Active New Jersey state PT license required to start the assignment.
- BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
- Experience in outpatient orthopedic settings preferred.
- Experience performing 60-minute evaluations and treatment sessions preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to complete clear, accurate, and timely documentation, including goal writing, functional quality indicator assessment, letters of medical necessity, and charge entry.
- Ability to develop individualized treatment plans and progress patients toward discharge.
- Willingness to participate in student supervision and preceptorship as assigned.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior travel therapy experience preferred.
- Experience with safe patient handling and materials handling protocols preferred.
- Previous involvement in performance improvement initiatives preferred.
Assignment Details
- Shift pattern: 5x8.
- Schedule: flexible 40 hours per week with 1–2 evenings until 7 PM.
- Practice focus: outpatient orthopedics.
- Typical visit structure: 60-minute evaluation plus treatment sessions.
