Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's, Master's or Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy from accredited schools approved by the APTA
- Active State License is Required to Start the Assignment
- BLS Certification May Be Required from AHA or ARC
- Minimum 1 year of Physical Therapist experience required
- ME state license
- Driver's license, car, and auto insurance
- Experience with post-ortho surgeries, post-surgical patients, fall risks, deconditioning, and mobility issues
Assignment Details
- Shift Hours: 0800-1700
- Shift Days: Monday-Friday
- 40 hours per week
- Weekend rotation required: 1 weekend every 4-6 weeks, Saturday and Sunday
- No call
- May travel between 50-100 miles per day while covering the assigned service area

South Portland offers quick access to Casco Bay, downtown Portland, and the Maine Mall area for a mix of coastal scenery and daily convenience. Willard Beach and Bug Light Park provide waterfront views within South Portland, while Portland Head Light in nearby Cape Elizabeth is about 15 minutes away. Downtown Portland’s Old Port district is typically about 10 minutes away and features restaurants, shops, and ferry access to the Casco Bay Islands. For outdoor time, Crescent Beach State Park and Two Lights State Park are both within about 20 to 25 minutes, making the area a good fit for clinicians who enjoy a coastal and active setting.
