Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA.
  • Active Massachusetts Physical Therapist license is required to start the assignment.
  • Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross may be required.
  • Outpatient physical therapy experience required, including evaluation, plan of care development, and functional treatment planning.
  • Experience with documentation requirements including goal writing, functional outcome measures, letters of medical necessity, and charge entry in compliance with payer and clinic policies.
  • Ability to supervise and delegate to support staff and to participate in student clinical education as assigned.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of safe patient handling, infection control, and workplace safety practices.
  • Maintain professional licensure and meet state-mandated continuing education requirements.
  • Preferred: prior experience in outpatient clinics with productivity expectations and experience using electronic medical record systems commonly used in outpatient therapy settings.
