Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by APTA.
- Active SC Physical Therapist license required prior to the start of the assignment.
- AHA BLS required.
- Experience in acute care or hospital settings with inpatient treatment focus on orthopedics (including same-day joint replacements and ortho trauma), neurologic, medical, ICU, cardiac, renal, oncology, trauma, and stroke care.
- Demonstrated ability to perform evaluations using specialized testing procedures and to develop individualized plans of care with measurable short- and long-term goals.
- Experience supervising or coordinating a treatment team and working with PTAs to set patient goals.
- Proficiency in medical documentation consistent with APTA standards of care.
- Preferred: experience with high-volume inpatient caseloads, including conducting approximately 8–12 evaluations per shift.
