Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA.
  • Active California Physical Therapy license required to start the assignment.
  • BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
  • Experience working in skilled nursing facility (SNF) settings preferred.
  • Experience with restorative nursing, discharge planning, and interdisciplinary team collaboration preferred.
  • Proficiency with documentation systems commonly used in SNFs such as electronic medical records required or preferred depending on client needs.
  • Ability to provide skilled therapy to geriatric and medically complex patients preferred.
