Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor's, Master's or Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA.
  • Active Maine Physical Therapist license or ability to obtain state licensure prior to start of assignment.
  • BLS Certification from AHA or ARC required prior to start.
  • Outpatient physical therapy experience. Client prefers experience in outpatient clinics with scheduled 45-minute evaluations and treatment sessions.
  • Experience managing an average caseload of approximately 10 patients per day and completing documentation on the day of service.
  • Demonstrated ability to complete discharge documentation within 24 hours of discharge or notification of discharge.
  • Strong collaboration skills for working with outpatient rehabilitation teams.
  • Preferred: prior experience covering short-term or seasonal assignments in outpatient settings.


Assignment Details

  • Facility Type: Hospital outpatient clinic.
  • Shift Name: Days.
  • Shift Details: Days 0800-1630.
  • Schedule: Monday–Friday, 5 days per week, 8 hours per day.
  • Caseload: Approximately 10 patients per day with 45-minute evaluation/treatment model and 30 minutes scheduled documentation time per day.
  • This is a summer coverage temporary assignment. Vacation requests during the week of July 4th cannot be approved.
