Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA.
  • Current, active Connecticut physical therapy license required to start the assignment.
  • BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
  • Experience evaluating and treating outpatient orthopedic and musculoskeletal injuries in a clinic setting. (Client-specific requirement.)
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate treatment plans and evaluation results to medical teams and specialty providers such as orthopedic and hand surgeons. (Client-specific requirement.)
  • Experience reporting patient progress to in-house or specialty physicians. (Client-specific requirement.)
  • Ability to collaborate with center colleagues to identify clinical issues and provide assistance as needed. (Client-specific requirement.)
  • Preferred: Prior outpatient ortho experience in a Monday through Friday 8-5 model.


Assignment Details

  • Facility Type: Outpatient clinic.
  • Duration: 14 week assignment.
  • Shift Pattern: 5x8 schedule, Monday through Friday, outpatient orthopedic focus.
  • Positions Available: 1 position.
  • Clinical Focus: Evaluate and treat patients with musculoskeletal injuries and coordinate care with physicians and specialty surgeons.
