Description

Make a meaningful difference as a travel Occupational Therapist at a skilled nursing facility in Jackson, TN. Provide patient-centered care to residents in a long-term care and skilled nursing environment. The role emphasizes point-of-service documentation and collaboration with interdisciplinary teams to support activities of daily living, restorative programs, and discharge planning when appropriate. This assignment offers a predictable schedule with flexibility as needed and opportunities to float occasionally to a nearby sister facility.


Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
  • Active Tennessee Occupational Therapy license required to start the assignment.
  • Minimum experience in skilled nursing facility (SNF) settings is required. No new graduates.
  • Proficiency with point-of-service documentation. Experience with NetHealth is required or strongly preferred.
  • Ability to meet productivity expectations. Client productivity target listed at 88%.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification may be required from AHA or ARC.
  • Willingness to float occasionally to sister facility when needed.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience working in long-term care and cognitive or restorative programs.
  • Prior experience in small bed-count facilities or with predominantly long-term care populations.
  • Experience collaborating with interdisciplinary teams in SNF environments.


Assignment Details

  • Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8-hour shifts. Flex schedule available and required when needed.
  • Setting: Skilled Nursing Facility with occasional float to a nearby sister facility.
  • Documentation: Point-of-service documentation workflow; NetHealth experience expected.
  • COVID policy: Vaccine not required; signed acknowledgement of risks required if not vaccinated.
