Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
- Active New York State OT license required to start the assignment.
- Certified Hand Therapist (CHT) certification required.
- Occupational Therapist Registered (OTR) credential required.
- Minimum 2 years of experience treating adults in outpatient hand therapy or related outpatient hospital settings.
- Experience managing caseloads of approximately 8–12 patients per shift in an outpatient clinic.
- Familiarity with outpatient hand therapy procedures and equipment, splinting, and post-operative protocols.
- Professional dress requirement: gray scrubs requested by the client.
- BLS certification may be required from AHA or ARC.
- Preferred: prior experience working in a hospital outpatient department. Preferred items are indicated as preferred.
