Make a meaningful difference as a travel OT. We’re seeking a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapist to help patients with injuries, illnesses, or disabilities regain or improve their daily skills while exploring a new location.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited educational program.
- Active Colorado OT license required prior to the start of the assignment.
- BLS certification may be required from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
- Home health experience required. Client specifies prior home health experience is needed.
- Demonstrated proficiency with OASIS documentation and meeting required timeframes and accuracy expectations.
- Ability to perform medication reviews and provide patient/caregiver education regarding medications and safety measures.
- Experience assessing home environments for safety, coordinating equipment and supplies, and providing case management in a home health setting.
- Ability to supervise occupational therapy assistants and home health aides as needed.
- Must meet productivity expectations: 30 points per week (client requirement).
- Must be able to travel within and provide care across El Paso, Teller, and Douglas counties as part of the assignment.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel between patient homes. Mileage reimbursement provided per client policy.
