Description

Make a meaningful difference as a travel OT in Tucson, AZ. We seek a dedicated Occupational Therapist to help patients with injuries, illnesses, or disabilities regain or improve daily skills while experiencing a new clinical environment in a hospital setting.


Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited educational program.
  • Active Arizona Occupational Therapy license required to start the assignment.
  • Current BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required by the facility.
  • Experience working in an acute care hospital or inpatient rehabilitation setting preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to perform evaluations, develop individualized treatment plans, and document according to facility and department policies.
  • Experience supervising COTAs and OT students preferred.
  • Ability to perform safe patient handling and use of assistive/adaptive equipment.

Assignment Details

  • Facility type: Hospital.
  • Shift: Day. 5x8 schedule.
  • Duration: 13 week assignment.
  • Role responsibilities include evaluations, individualized treatment planning, discharge planning, patient/family education, documentation, and supervision of COTAs and students.
  • Participation in interdisciplinary team meetings and adherence to facility safety and infection control protocols required.
