Make a meaningful difference as a travel OT in Tucson, AZ. We seek a dedicated Occupational Therapist to help patients with injuries, illnesses, or disabilities regain or improve daily skills while experiencing a new clinical environment in a hospital setting.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited educational program.
- Active Arizona Occupational Therapy license required to start the assignment.
- Current BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required by the facility.
- Experience working in an acute care hospital or inpatient rehabilitation setting preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to perform evaluations, develop individualized treatment plans, and document according to facility and department policies.
- Experience supervising COTAs and OT students preferred.
- Ability to perform safe patient handling and use of assistive/adaptive equipment.

Assignment Details
- Facility type: Hospital.
- Shift: Day. 5x8 schedule.
- Duration: 13 week assignment.
- Role responsibilities include evaluations, individualized treatment planning, discharge planning, patient/family education, documentation, and supervision of COTAs and students.
- Participation in interdisciplinary team meetings and adherence to facility safety and infection control protocols required.
