Description

We're hiring a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant for a travel contract role at a skilled nursing facility in Stockton, CA. Minimum Requirements

  • Associate degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited college.
  • Active California COTA license is required to start the assignment.
  • BLS certification from American Heart Association or American Red Cross may be required.
  • Experience working in skilled nursing or long-term care environments preferred.
  • Documentation and electronic medical record experience preferred, including progress notes and care planning.
  • Ability to perform transfers, ADL training, and use common adaptive equipment such as splints, adaptive feeding devices, and mobility aids.
  • Reliable transportation for commuting to the facility and potential floating to other nearby facilities if required by the client.


Assignment Details

  • Facility type: Skilled Nursing Facility.
  • Shift: Days.
  • Shift hours: 08:00–16:30.
  • Work days: Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday (per VMS work days).
  • Schedule: Five 8-hour shifts per week (5x8).
  • Meal break: 30 minutes.
  • Contract weeks: 14-week assignment.
  • Floating: Candidate may be required to float to other facilities when requested by the client.
