We are hiring a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant for a travel contract role at a skilled nursing facility in Waldorf, MD. Minimum Requirements
- Associate degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited college.
- Active Maryland COTA license or multi-state license valid for Maryland required to start the assignment.
- Current BLS certification from American Heart Association or American Red Cross required or must be obtained prior to start.
- Experience working in a skilled nursing facility (SNF) or long-term care setting preferred.
- Minimum of 1 year of hands-on COTA experience with geriatric patient population preferred.
- Demonstrated experience with ADL retraining, assistive device training, and caregiver education preferred.
- Ability to follow documented treatment plans and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams.

- Shift hours: 0800-1630.
- Work days: Monday through Friday.
- Typical weekly hours: 35 (5x8 schedule).
- Floating: Candidate may be required to float to other facilities as needed.
- Assignment length: 14 weeks.
