Minimum Requirements

  • Master’s or bachelor’s degree in special education from an accredited educational program.
  • Valid Alaska state special education certificate or the ability to obtain required state certification.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in K–12 public school settings.
  • Previous work with transition planning for secondary students.


Assignment Details

  • 2 positions in Kenai, AK
  • Position 1 is for life skills or self-contained classroom.
  • Position 2 is working as a resource teacher.
  • Small class size and paraprofessional support.
