We’re hiring an experienced Respiratory Therapist for a local healthcare provider where you’ll be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating the treatment, care, and needs of patients with breathing disorders
Minimum Requirements:
- Associate or bachelor’s degree from a Respiratory Therapy or Cardiopulmonary Science program
- Current state license in good standing with the State License Board
- One year experience as an RRT
- BLS certification
- NRP certification
- NBRC certification
- ACLS certification
- PALS certification
- 24 months of RRT/Respiratory experience in a hospital setting
- EPIC EMR experience
- All certifications must be active
- Must have completed a travel assignment within the past 15 months
- Experience with jet ventilator
- Experience with Drager Vent
- Experience with Oscillator Vent
- NICU experience within the last 18 months
- Level III NICU experience within the last 15 months
- 36 months of current RRT / Respiratory Therapy experience
Assignment Details
- Shift days: Friday, Saturday, Sunday
- Start time: 0700 or 1900, based on staffing and census
- 36 hours per week
- Holiday rotation if scheduled
- No call
- Weekend requirement: as scheduled
- Must be willing and able to float across different units throughout the hospital
