We’re hiring an experienced Respiratory Therapist for a local healthcare provider where you’ll be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating the treatment, care, and needs of patients with breathing disorders.
Minimum Requirements:
- Associate or bachelor’s degree from an accredited Respiratory Care or Cardiopulmonary Science program.
- Current NY State Respiratory Therapist license in good standing. New York Temporary Health Care Service Agency License/Registration required for temporary staffing submissions.
- NBRC Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required.
- Minimum one year experience as an RRT with critical care proficiency.
- Experience with Epic electronic medical record required.
- Neonatal resuscitation and labor & delivery/neonatal experience required. NRP required.
- Current ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications required.
- Compliance items required at time of submission: uploaded licenses and certifications, permanent address matching ID, work history, skills checklist (current to 1 year), and one supervisory signed reference within the past two years.
- Must be able to pass a 14-panel drug screen within 24 hours of offer acceptance. Agencies must be able to run the full panel.
- Preferred: Associate’s degree (if not already listed), prior travel experience, and prior hospital-based multi-department float experience.
