We’re hiring an experienced Respiratory Therapist for a local healthcare provider where you’ll be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating the treatment, care, and needs of patients with breathing disorders.
Minimum Requirements:
- Associate or bachelor’s degree from a Respiratory Therapy or Cardiopulmonary Science program.
- Current state Respiratory Therapist license in good standing with the Maine State Licensing Board.
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required.
- Minimum 3 years of clinical experience as an RRT, including tertiary/teaching hospital or Level I trauma experience.
- BLS required. ACLS preferred.
- NRP required for NICU assignments.
- Experience with mechanical ventilators and respiratory equipment, including Drager V500/VN500, Hamilton T1/C1, Respironics V30/V60, Trilogy line, Airvo, and Vapotherm.
- Experience with EPIC or comparable EMR preferred.
- Ability to float across departments as an RRT, including adult acute and critical care, ED, and some NICU/PICU and acute pediatric settings.
- Preferred: experience with NICU/PICU and cardiothoracic care.
