Description

We’re hiring an experienced Respiratory Therapist for a local healthcare provider where you’ll be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating the treatment, care, and needs of patients with breathing disorders.


Minimum Requirements: 

  • Associate or bachelor’s degree from a Respiratory Therapy or Cardiopulmonary Science program.
  • Current state Respiratory Therapist license in good standing. OH and KY licenses preferred; Ohio license required if practicing in Ohio.
  • One year experience as an RRT. Acute care or hospital-based experience required.
  • BLS certification required.
  • ACLS certification preferred.
  • Experience with invasive and non-invasive mechanical ventilation, ventilator setup and self-test, and ventilator management.
  • Experience performing arterial puncture, oximetry, capnography, suctioning (including tracheal), tracheostomy care, and chest physiotherapy.
  • Experience with cardiopulmonary procedures and monitoring including 12-lead EKG, basic arrhythmia recognition, and pulmonary function testing.
  • Ability to assist with procedures such as bronchoscopy, chest tube management, and tracheostomy insertion/removal.
