We’re hiring an experienced Registered Respiratory Therapist for a hospital in Lawton, OK where you will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating treatment, care, and needs of patients with breathing disorders.
Minimum Requirements:
- Associate or bachelor’s degree from an accredited Respiratory Therapy or Cardiopulmonary Science program.
- Current Oklahoma state respiratory therapy license in good standing.
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential.
- Minimum one year of clinical experience as an RRT in an acute care hospital setting.
- BLS certification required.
- Experience managing mechanical ventilation and ventilator weaning protocols.
- Experience with arterial blood gas (ABG) sampling and interpretation.
- Competence with oxygen therapy, aerosolized medication delivery, and chest physiotherapy.
- Ability to collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and follow physician-driven respiratory care plans.
- Preferred: ACLS certification and experience in a trauma or critical care unit.
