We’re hiring an experienced Respiratory Therapist for a local hospital in Sahuarita, AZ where you will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating the treatment, care, and needs of patients with breathing disorders.
Minimum Requirements:
- Associate or bachelor’s degree from a Respiratory Therapy or Cardiopulmonary Science program.
- Current Arizona state respiratory license in good standing.
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required. Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) candidates may be considered but RRT is required by the client.
- Minimum one year of clinical experience as an RRT, including airway management and arterial blood gas (ABG) management.
- BLS certification required.
- Experience with Cerner electronic medical record preferred.
- Ability and willingness to float between departments and to sister facilities as required.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience providing emergency room respiratory support and nocturnal/critical care on night shift.
- Previous travel or float pool experience within multi-hospital systems.
Assignment Details
- Shift hours: 18:30–07:00.
- Night shift coverage, typically 3 nights per week.
- EMR: Cerner.
- Must be willing to float between departments and to nearby sister facilities.
